Position Type: Security/Security Officer IIDate Posted: 12/11/2024Location: CV High SchoolClosing Date: 12/18/2024A full-time eight (8) hour per day (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM), 9-month position Security Officer II position is available with an anticipated start date of January 13, 2025. The candidate selected for this position will be compensated at a starting rate of $21.00 per hour. Security Officer II's are responsible for supporting school and district administration in maintaining a safe and secure environment for the students, faculty, staff, and visitors of Cumberland Valley School District. The Security Officer II is directly responsible to both the Supervisor and Director of Student and Public Safety. High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Three (3) years of prior security, military, or police experience. Experience working with adolescents is preferred.The successful applicant will be required to obtain certification in Safe Crisis Management (SCM), CPR, and First Aid within six (6) months of employment. The applicant should have corrected hearing or vision within normal ranges. If hired for employment, the applicant must be able to submit the following:

Criminal Record Check (less than one year old)

PA Child Abuse History Clearance (less than one year old)

FBI Finger Print Clearance (less than one year old)

TB Test/Mantoux (less than 3 months old)

Physical - if applicable (less than 1 year old)
