This position performs routine patrols, writes incident reports, responds to non-emergency and emergency calls throughout the entire campus and as requested by security supervision. Responsibilities (10%) - Escorts patients to In Patient Mental Health, or other areas of the facility, as requested by staff (i.e. doctor, nurse). (30%) - Responds to all calls received from the public, hospital staff, and the security dispatcher (35%) - Conducts continuous random patrols, utilizing the patrol vehicle, bicycle, or foot patrol (10%) - Responds to hospital emergency overhead pages as determined by security dispatch. (15%) - Monitors and pages all fire codes, as received on the fire monitor system located in security dispatch. OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Monitors and reports alarms received on the S&D alarm panel, generator alarm panel, HVAC computer, Medical Air Gases alarm panel.
