Supporting and embracing our Sustainability efforts.Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Patrol assigned areas, buildings and grounds, watches for unauthorized person or vehicle, fires, and unusual occurrences; and report emergencies
- Maintaining lost & found items following established process
- Maintaining key control program and key control integrity
- Prepare reports on any unusual situation, accident, or unusual circumstances
- Diagnosis, repair, replace batteries, and reprogram electronic door locks
- Replace batteries, open or reset guest room safes
- Lead or escort guests, tours, vendors and other third parties to the right destination
- Open and close doors, gates and rooms with limited access
- Report all company violation of SOP's and unsafe work practices
- Act as on-property First Responder to include basic first aid and CPR
- Patrol the property using the Patrol System visiting all designated points as established by Resort Management and/or the Director of Risk Management. Points patrolled must be recorded each hour. Exception to this would be if a Security Officer is assisting in a Guest/Employee situation in which this would be noted on the Daily Activity Report (if applicable)
- Complete Daily Activity Reports (DARs). These should be event detail for every 15 minutes increment of the shift. DAR's are to be completed on assigned computer and sent to the Resort Manager or other designated recipient
- Provide assistance to guests on an as-needed basis with delivery of amenities and other special requests
- Complete various additional tasks and assignments as needed
3rd Shift Officers: Overnight Security Officers are responsible for assisting with after hour's check-ins to include verifying guests IDs' and giving assigned room keys to the guests. Security Officers will receive a phone call when their assistance with this is needed. •Complete various additional tasks and assignments as needed.RequirementsSKILLS & ABILITIESEducation: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)Experience: Minimum of 6 months of Security experience preferredComputer Skills: Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft ExcelCertificates & Licenses: Adult and Child First Aid and CPR; AED; Class 'D' License-FloridaOther Requirements: Be able to write good, understandable and detailed incident reports. Must have a flexible schedule as schedules are determined based on the needs of the business
