$16.00/Hour, plus shift differential, if applicableLocation: Gaming DivisionReports To: Security SupervisorPosted Until FilledSummary: As a Security Officer at North Star Mohican Casino Resort's Gaming Division, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our patrons, employees, and property. Reporting directly to the Security Supervisor, you'll uphold the highest standards of customer service while executing various security procedures. Your responsibilities include patrolling the premises, handling emergency situations, and maintaining compliance with established protocols and regulations. We're seeking a courteous, reliable individual with a positive attitude and the ability to adapt to changing needs.   • Ensure the security, safety, and protection of customers, staff, and visitors of North Star Mohican Casino Resort and its property.
  • Uphold the highest standards of customer service as per company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain an acceptable departmental staff record.
  • Wear the approved departmental uniform and adhere to appearance guidelines.
  • Coordinate handling of emergency procedures and assist emergency personnel when necessary.
  • Patrol premises and parking lot of the casino.
  • Transport monies on the floor and escort courier services transporting funds.
  • Provide written incident reports to shift supervisor for all unusual or suspicious events.
  • Adhere to all rules, regulations, procedures, and policies of the casino and the Security Department.
  • Maintain compliance with the Casino's Drug and Alcohol-Free Workplace Policy.
  • Adhere to workplace policies, procedures, ordinances, laws, and other expectations communicated by supervisors or regulatory personnel.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or deemed necessary by department supervisor/manager.
Qualifications & Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED required preferred. High School Diploma or GED is required if you are 19 years old and under.
  • Must excel in customer service and have knowledge of security measures and procedures.
  • Ability to perform physical requirements of the job.
  • Possession of a valid Wisconsin driver's license preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Mohican Nation Gaming License.
  • Must pass a Criminal Investigation Background Check (CIB) and pre-employment drug screening.
  • Flexible schedule to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Positive attitude, teamwork skills, willingness to adapt, and commitment to self-development.
  • Ability to maintain a satisfactory working record.
  • Must be eligible for employer's liability insurance and at least 18 years of age.
Work Conditions:
  • Constant hand movements, walking, standing, kneeling, crouching, and bending.
  • Ability to respond to incidents with complete mobility and in a timely manner.
  • Frequent climbing of stairs and lifting/moving up to fifty (50) pounds.
  • Must work in extreme temperatures and a smoke-free, noise-varying, and dust-free environment.
  • Specific vision abilities required, with the aid of prescription glasses/contacts if needed.
  • The work environment is non-smoking and dust-free; and noise levels may vary depending on location and work area.
