POSITION SUMMARYThe employee in this position is responsible for providing superior service to both internal and external guests. The Security Officer Level 1 is also responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all patrons, employees and company assets. This position is classified as a Safety Sensitive position. It is a job or position where the team member holding this position has the responsibility for his/her own safety and/or the safety of others.JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe following statements are intended as general examples of the duties of this position and are not all-inclusive for specific positions.* Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude toward all external and internal customers always.* Safety and security of all customers and employees and their assets* Safety and security of the parking grounds* General Escorts, Security Dispatch, and Security Podiums* Transporting money, chips, tokens and markers.* Controlling access to restricted areas including checking identifications.* Monitoring patron and employee passage in and out of the casino.* Responsible for checking for and reporting safety hazards.* Creating a clean, safe, friendly and fun atmosphere for all guests and employees.* Responsible for meeting departmental goals as set by the company or Security Manager.* Other duties as assigned or any reasonable request from any member of management.
