Then Kalamazoo Valley Community College may have the perfect part-time security position for you.Duties include conducting security patrols, safety inspections, assisting students, staff and faculty as needed, monitoring campus activities as assigned, and other related responsibilities.Minimum Qualifications:* A high school diploma or equivalent is required.* Basic computer skills using Microsoft Office programs are required.Preferred Qualifications and Experience:* First Aid/CPR Certification is preferred.* Prior security experience and one year experience in a position requiring decision making and following directions is preferred.Physical Demands:* Extensive standing and walking.* Ability to lift and pull up to 50 pounds.* Ability to walk extensively and climb stairs.Work Hours: Up to 20 hours a week, 8 hour shifts; primarily evenings, weekends, and holidays.
