* POSITION SUMMARY:* Under the supervision of the Security Supervisor, performs duties which help to maintain the security of the building, grounds, and all persons therein. Provides patient observations as ordered by a physician.* QUALIFICATIONS:* EDUCATION:* Minimum:* High School education required.* LICENSE:* Minimum:* Valid NYS driver's license clear of violations consistent with FLH Policy* PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:* Minimum:* NYS Security Guard Registration, which includes completion of 8-hour pre-assignment training.* Preferred:* 16-hour Security Guard course, CPI obtained within 90 days of hire.* BLS required through the RQI system during clinical orientation.* WORK EXPERIENCE:* Preferred:* Previous security experience.* SKILLS:* Minimum:* Must have a good driving history and be able to travel to multiple locations on any given day as requested.* Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the people in a professional and courteous manner.* Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling.* Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills.Salary Range: 19.57-21.84
