This area of responsibility includes all areas visible from the gatehouse.b. Guards shall acquaint themselves with MNAA management and airline and tenant employees who are authorized to enter the terminal ramp restricted area. Guards must ensure all employees and tenants entering the restricted area through the gate have an Airport Authority Identification/Access Badge allowing them access, via printed (Stop List) or electronic (card reader) means, into the specific area with proper access level for the area.c. Guards must visually inspect the interior and exterior body of all vehicles entering through gate 9A/B regardless of the number of times the vehicle enters or leaves to ensure authorized access.d. Guards must always be physically present at the gate when on duty. This gate must never be unattended.e. Guards must immediately contact companies/persons responsible for escorting deliveries requiring access through the gate and must ensure proper escort is in attendance before allowing such vehicles access to include issuance of proper escort passes.f. Guards must check locks on all security gates to ensure they are secure when not in use.g. Guards must have communication ability via company radio and/or cell phone.h. Responsible for obtaining, controlling, and returning any access control printouts (Stop List and Escort/Temporary Parking Vehicle Passes and Logs).Landside Ground Levela. This area of responsibility is primarily the ground level curbside in front of the Airport terminal building. There will be two guards per shift, with three shifts per day, seven days per week. The MNAA reserves the right to use less guard personnel if the MNAA determines he/she is not needed.b. Guards will foot patrol the CONRAC, ground level of the terminal, and curbside to provide a visible deterrent and ensure that all vehicles are attended.c. Guards will maintain a presence on the ground level of the terminal. This area must never be left unattended unless attending to other duties authorized by the MNAA.d. Guards must report any unsecured doors or access points, any audible or visual alarms, and/or unattended baggage to the Airport Communications Center immediately.e. Guards shall provide pedestrian and vehicular traffic control.f. Guards must have communication ability via company radio and/or cell phoneLandside Employee Parking Lota. This area of responsibility includes the entire area within the employee parking lot boundaries, including the entrance/exit gate areas.b. Guards will be familiar with requirements for authorized use of the parking lot and shuttle bus procedures.c. Guards must be knowledgeable of entry/exit gate operations. Guards must observe gates periodically and immediately report malfunctions/damage to the ACC.d. Guard will be posted in the area from 2200 to 0600 seven days per week. Guard will patrol by vehicle during this time and report to the ACC suspicious vehicles/persons, damage to vehicles or other property, unauthorized vehicles, accidents, injuries, and other matters of concern which relate to the safety and security of the area. The contractor shall provide a patrol vehicle, which may be a golf cart.e. Guards must report any unsecured doors or access points any audible or visual alarms, and/or unattended baggage to the Airport Communications Center immediately.f. Guards must check locks on all security gates to ensure they are secure when not in use.g. Guards must have communication ability via company radio and/or cell phoneInternational Plaza Office Buildinga. One guard to be on duty Monday through Friday from 11:00 to 19:00 for a total of 40 hours per week. Additional duty may be requested on an as-needed basis. Primary duties will be to patrol building lobby and parking lot to ensure the safety of the tenants of International Plaza.b. Daily Security Service Scope of Work; 1) RISE - Respect, Integrity, Service, and Integrity. Be courteous, positive and understanding toward all people who use our services and visit the facilities. Provide as assistance (within reason) to all guests upon request. Customer service is the responsibility of all staff. Welcome every guest and tenant. 2) Lower Level Service Elevator Lobby Area - Main Post a) Maintain work area in a clean and orderly fashion b) Monitor security cameras c) Check the Fire Life Safety System hourly 3) Patrols a) Stairwells - Patrol all stairwells at least 3 times per shift - Check that all doors are secure and signs of smoking or debris and report to building management if necessary b) Common Areas - Check for unauthorized persons, check all Exit Signs to ensure that they are operational and report any that are not. c) Exterior Area - Patrol hourly 4) Adhere to International Emergency Plan and Evacuation Policy (MPC provided). 5) Alarm Reporting and Power Outages - Immediately Notify Building Management, Call ACC and assist in evacuation if necessary. 6) Severe Weather Warning - Notify building management 7) Water Leak - Report to building management 8) Elevator Entrapment - Respond and report immediately, develop response procedure in conjunction with building management and DPS. 9) Develop Post Orders for MPC approval and implementation. 10) Develop Incident Report for use as needed. 11) Develop and implement Daily/Hourly Shift Log and turn into building management daily. 12) Develop security procedure for key and access card control. 13) Lost and Found - Store and secure until turned over to building management. 14) Witnessing a crime - Main responsibility of security is to observe and report.c. One guard to do two nightly patrols seven days per week at 23:00 and 03:00 for a total of 14 hours per week. 1) Conduct security patrols of interior and exterior of premises and report as needed. 2) Walk all interior floors and check every door to make sure they are secure. Report to ACC any unsecured areas. 3) Check all Common Areas. 4) Notify ACC of any safety, security or maintenance issues. 5) Complete and turn in a nightly inspection report. 6) Follow all procedures as established in the Post Orders.Landside Levels Traffic Control- Arrivala. These areas of responsibility are the crosswalks on the arrival level of the Airport terminal. Four guards to be on duty per shift, with three shifts per day, seven days per week. The MNAA reserves the right to use less guard personnel if the MNAA determines he/she is not needed. b. Guards will conduct visual checks of all vehicles entering the arrival level of the terminal building.c. Guards will direct traffic and remain vigilant for unattended vehicles. Guards will direct drivers to move vehicles that are not actively loading or unloading that park curbside or commercial side. Guards will contact DPS for any drivers that refuse to move.d. Guards will foot patrol the arrival level of the terminal and curbside to provide a visible deterrent and ensure that all vehicles are attended.e. Guards will maintain a presence on the arrival level of the terminal. This area must never be left unattended unless attending to other duties authorized by the MNAA.f. Guards must report any unsecured doors or access points, any audible or visual alarms, and/or unattended vehicles and baggage to the Airport Communications Center immediately.g. Guards must have communication ability via company radio and/or cell phone.Concessionaire Inspections and Deliveries (CSF)a. Guards to be on duty at the Consolidated Service Facility receiving dock to be available for concessionaire inspection and escorting. One guard will be on duty from 0500 to 1300 hours Monday through Friday for a total of 40 hours per week. (Hours subject to change based on CSF needs.)b. Vendor and concessionaire escorting and inspections include, but are not limited to, the inspection for prohibited items and persons, the escorting of vendors to the freight elevators on the concourses, or other delivery areas, and ensuring that all products that are being taken up to the concourse by a vendor are continuously monitored by a guard, which requires the physical presence of a guard in the elevator at all times product is being taken up by a vendor.c. Guards must report to the ACC and DPS all suspicious persons and/or activity, damage to property, unauthorized persons, activities, injuries, prohibited items (other than those deemed an operational need), and other matters of concern which relate to the safety and security of the areas being monitored by the vendor/concessionaire inspections and delivery guard(s).d. Guards must be physically present at the Consolidated Service Facility receiving dock when on duty unless providing escort and/or inspection services for vendors/concessionaires or otherwise directed by the MNAA.e. Guards must immediately contact companies/persons responsible for escorting deliveries requiring access through the gate and must ensure proper escort is in attendance before allowing such vehicles access to include issuance of proper escort passes.f. Guards must check locks on all security gates to ensure they are secure when not in use.g. Guards must have communication ability via company radio and/or cell phone.Ride Share Lota. This area of responsibility is to actively manage access and appropriate use of the Ride Share Staging Lot from 0800 to 0000 seven days a week.b. Guards will be responsible to actively opening and closing access to the lot to ensure capacity is not exceeded and prevent back-ups causing congestion onto Terminal Drive.c. Guards should actively patrol and monitor use by ride share drivers, ensuring that they are actively working on the ride app awaiting a fare.Qualifications:A Current guard card license as required by State or local law.Must pass a 10-panel drug test prior to placement.Must pass a criminal history check (based on fingerprints where permitted by law) independent of state professional certification requirements.Must undergo employment verification check back to age 18.Must undergo motor vehicle record checks.Education and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent; possession of a college degree is highly desirable.Speak, read, and write English.All assigned personnel should be of high integrity and possess exemplary security skills and judgment.Assigned personnel should possess above average computer skills and must hold all necessary and required licenses, permits and certifications required by the States and/or Countries of assignment to perform security officer duties.Inter-Con OverviewFounded in 1973, Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc. is a leading US-owned security company, providing integrated security solutions to government and commercial customers on four continents.
