Avera is now hiring a Security Officer to work in our facility Position Highlights: Career Growth opportunities with the largest employer in South Dakota. Job Summary Responsible to provide security for patients, employees, and visitors; protects hospital buildings, assets, and premises as assigned. Also provides traffic control and maintains parking lots and structures. Education and/or Experience Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Certification, Licensure, and/or Registrations This position requires a valid driver's license and that the employee is insurable by the Avera Health automobile liability insurance carrier. Work Schedule Wednesday, 6:00am-6:00pm; 24hrs/2wks Pay The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. $19.00 - $23.50 per hour What Makes Avera Special?
