Overview:
Gateway Group One Security Officers are responsible for meeting the day-to-day needs of customers and clients. Respond courteously and respectfully to resolve issues, while following policies and procedures set forth by the client and Gateway Group One. Individuals must be able to react professionally in stressful situations. Document situations as they occur and reach out to the appropriate person as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors/vendors/clients in a professional demeanor.
- Answer phones, monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems.
- Conduct tours of inside and or outside perimeters of client site.
- Log in visitors/vendors/contractors.
- Maintain a daily log of all activities for post.
- Perform escorts when required.
- Access control.
- Foot patrol.
- Post inspections.
Qualifications:
- Superior customer service skills and professional demeanor.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Proper telephone etiquette.
- Moderate to advanced computer skills.
- A valid SORA license required.
- A valid driver's license in good standing (no moving violations, suspensions, or accidents in the last 3-5 years).
- Must be flexible to work different shifts, including weekends, and holidays.
- Available to work with individuals in a variety of situations.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- F/T P/T- opportunities available.
- Security experience a plus.
- High School Diploma/GED.
