The Role | Security Operations Specialist

As a Security Operations Specialist, you will be a key part of our in-house operations center team, providing real-time monitoring of AI-driven security systems to safeguard our clients' homes and families. This is an on-site role, where you will be responsible for anticipating and responding to potential security threats, delivering a seamless client experience, and working in close collaboration with our engineering team. Flexibility and adaptability are key as we scale, and teamwork is essential to the success of the operations center.

This is an extremely high-touch role where luxury client-facing relationship skills are critical and required.

You Will Contribute By

  • Advanced Security Monitoring: Oversee AI-driven surveillance systems and access control, responding to potential security incidents with precision and ensuring real-time protection of clients' assets and loved ones.
  • Client Interaction: Act as the primary point of contact for security events, delivering a seamless and high-quality experience for clients while upholding the discretion and privacy standards expected in a luxury service.
  • Emergency Response & Crisis Management: Coordinate with authorities, executives, clients, and staff during urgent or high-pressure situations, maintaining calm and professionalism.
  • Communication Excellence: Provide clear, concise, and professional communication across all levels of the organization, ensuring transparency and trust.
  • Data Annotation & System Feedback: Enhance our AI systems by annotating data and providing feedback to improve the accuracy of threat detection.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed logs of incidents, communications, and actions taken to ensure full transparency.
  • Cross-Functional Support: As part of a growing startup, contribute to tasks outside your direct role, supporting the broader operations team as needed.

Your Background Includes

  • Relevant Experience: Background in Executive Protection, Intelligence, Operations, Critical Incident Management, Corporate Security, or related fields.
  • Operations & GSOC Experience: Previous experience in a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) or a similar role, with an understanding of its critical functions.
  • Educational Credentials: An undergraduate degree in IT, Criminal Justice, Political Science, or a related field, or 5+ years of experience in law enforcement, military, or intelligence roles.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, odd hours, and weekends, sometimes with little notice, to meet the needs of our clients.

Nice to Have

  • Luxury Service or Executive Protection: Experience providing luxury customer service or in an executive protection role.
  • Growth-Oriented Mindset: A desire to grow into leadership roles such as Lead Operator as our team expands.

Work Environment & Schedule

This is an on-site role in our state-of-the-art operations centers, located in San Francisco California and Henderson Nevada, with no remote work.

6 positions will be hired for the Bay Area, and 12 positions will be hired for the Henderson NV area.

Shifts will be 10 hours. Shifts may include weekends, nights, and holidays as part of a 24/7 operation. Early team members will have more opportunities to select their shift preference.

Compensation:

This is a full-time W2 position with full benefits including equity grants. The pay range for CA is $40 hourly, and the pay range for NV is $36 hourly.

Growth & Development

As an early team member, you will have the opportunity to shape the development of protocols and contribute to system improvements. We offer growth opportunities within the company, with paths to advance into lead operator or other management roles.

Lead Positions will be determined through a merit-based promotion system.
