PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
Secure the premises internally and externally through routine safety checks of the facility/grounds, monitoring security cameras and controlling the flow of traffic. Staff will be required to identify and respond appropriately to safety hazards and potently threats. In addition, staff will be responsible for routine cleaning of the building and general upkeep of the grounds.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Graduation form an approved security enforcement program preferred
* At least 2 years' experience
* Able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
* Able to stand and walk for extended periods as required
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Computer skills, outlook and Microsoft
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Security staff will be required to perform a thorough safety inspection of the building/grounds at regular intervals during the day. They are also required to monitor the cameras and control the flow of traffic into the building. Security officer will be required to maintain a guest/participant log and perform routine administrative duties, such as answering/routing phone calls and sorting mail. In addition to ensuring the safety of the staff and participants, team members will be responsible for keeping the building clean. Duties may include daily cleaning activities like, sweeping, mopping and removing trash throughout the day.
Monday - Friday - 7:00am to 3:30pm/8:30am-5:00pm full-time or Tuesday - Friday 11:00am -7:30pm and Saturday - 7:00am to 3:30pm part-time
