JOB SUMMARY

The Security Print Sales Director is a critical role responsible for sales of Authentix Security Print Solutions. This individual will manage the Security Print Sales Teams and build the Security Print sales capabilities across Authentix, achieving annual sales revenue goals and other strategic objectives. The Director must work closely with all Departments to ensure products, solutions, and marketing tactics meet ongoing market requirements, execute sales processes, and develop incentive systems to drive market share growth.

The Sales Director will rely on the knowledge and experience of colleagues within Authentix to sell solutions that protect clients' products from counterfeit and falsification. This job requires technical and solutions sales experience, and the ability to collaborate with customers and internal teams to solve problems and close business. Advanced knowledge in anti-counterfeiting technologies, manufacturing, and printing is preferred.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, implement, and oversee key corporate processes associated with sales management, forecasting, proposal development, and incentive compensation programs.
  • Staff and develop the Security Print organization with high-caliber personnel.
  • Translate business strategy into practical commercial strategies and measurable business objectives.
  • Develop and execute geographic/vertical marketing and sales strategy.
  • Manage the commercial department to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Create an overview of business activities and develop an annual plan full of commercial initiatives.
  • Manage the commercial budget and ensure financial health and objectives.
  • Formulate smart pricing strategies and processes.
  • Balance short and long-term considerations in addressing relevant challenges.
  • Encourage meaningful relationships with customers and external stakeholders to stimulate revenue growth.
  • Set measurable targets for direct reports and empower the team with appropriate support, coaching, and resources.
  • Identify and develop external partners and relationships.
  • Respond to Authentix generated leads and identify new leads through industry knowledge and networks.
  • Open large client target accounts through strategic solution selling.
  • Qualify opportunities and manage through the sales process to deal closure.
  • Document and track deal progress using client relationship management tools.
  • Lead and create content for proposal and bid opportunities with the support of the bid team.
  • Manage assigned customers to ensure high satisfaction and business expansion.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate principles, values, and policies.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Pipeline development for new markets.
  • Selling complex Security Print solutions to mostly governmental customers.
  • Proven experience as a Sales executive with a track record of success.
  • Results-oriented with a strong drive to succeed.
  • Experience with and technical knowledge of security printing, technologies, and processes.
  • Experience in data analytics and emerging technologies.
  • Teamwork and collaboration with technical and program management.
  • Sharp analytical thinking skills.
  • Effective, transparent, and timely communications.
  • Active industry expert, creating points of view and representing Authentix on social media and key events.
  • Comply with corporate principles, values, and policies.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering; or similar business experience.
  • At least five years' experience in a high-tech, customer-facing, sophisticated product company.
  • Proven, referenceable experience working independently while supporting cross-functional leadership.

ADDITIONAL FACTORS RESULTING IN ADDED CONSIDERATION

  • Additional experience beyond the minimum will be prioritized and balanced with depth of education.
  • Direct experience in security printing, track and trace, currency authentication, or serialization is preferred.
  • Experience operating in multiple disciplines, helping engineers and scientists from diverse fields come together to solve problems and deliver sophisticated solutions.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Up to 60% travel may be required depending on work location.
  • Excellent verbal and written knowledge of Dutch and English; a third or fourth language is an advantage.

WORK REQUIREMENTS

The work environment characteristics are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the job. This job will allow for remote working primarily from the RJE office in Haarlem or the SPS office in Consett, Co. Durham, UK, depending on the candidate's nationality.
