As a Security Product Manager Technical at Alto Pharmacy, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our systems, products, and data against evolving threats. You will collaborate closely with engineering, product management, and security teams to define, prioritize, and execute security initiatives across our technology stack. This role demands a deep technical understanding of security principles and a strategic mindset to drive security features from conception to deployment.

- Security Strategy: Develop and drive the security strategy for Alto Pharmacy's products and services in alignment with business goals and industry best practices.
- Feature Ownership: Own the end-to-end lifecycle of security features, including ideation, requirements gathering, prioritization, development oversight, and deployment.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams to integrate security best practices into development processes and ensure secure coding practices are followed.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to proactively identify and mitigate potential security risks.
- Compliance and Standards: Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR) related to security.
- Incident Response: Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures, and participate in security incident response activities as needed.
- Security Awareness: Drive security awareness programs and training sessions for engineering teams to enhance understanding and adherence to security protocols.
- Vendor Management: Evaluate security posture of third-party vendors and manage relationships to ensure compliance with Alto Pharmacy's security standards.
A Bit About YouMinimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Proven experience (4 years) in a technical security role, preferably within a healthcare or highly regulated industry.
- Strong understanding of application security, infrastructure security, and secure coding principles.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) and security tools (e.g., IDS/IPS, SIEM, vulnerability management).
- Familiarity with security compliance requirements such as HIPAA, GDPR, etc.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are a plus.

- Occasionally ascending or descending stairs, ramps and the like.
- Moving about to accomplish tasks and/or moving from one worksite to another.
- Adjusting or moving objects up to 20 pounds in all directions.
- Operating motor vehicles.
- Occasional sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing/driving/flying.
