Training will be on the job working with experienced specialists.They are looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking Security Service Technician to join their amazing culture. In the role you will respond to routine and some non-routine customer service calls, scheduled maintenance calls, and emergency and after-hours service calls on a timely basis; you will diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, replace defective parts and debug systems for routine problems; install projects as necessary providing customers with solutions.They need someone with solid troubleshooting skills who can isolate and fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software. You will also need to complete accurate and detailed service reports for customer and company in a timely manner to allow for accurate invoicing and job cost tracking.You will also be responsible for primarily performing preventative maintenance for installed systems that are typically less complex. You will also work closely with other specialists to cross-train on servicing existing customers by responding to service calls, carrying out Customer Support Programs and small projects business.Your scope of work includes technical assistance, systems checkout of new and existing installations, troubleshooting and maintenance and repair routines associated with installed Security and the installation of small or less complex projects.This is primarily a day shift role with local travel as most customer locations are local, at times you may need to drive a few hours to get to a location. It is also mostly a day shift role but depending on customer needs you may be asked to work an evening shift from time to time, they usually do this on a rotational basis and does not happen that often. They also have an on-call rotation that you may get about 2-3 times/year. There is some overtime that varies but usually only 2-5 hours/week.Base salary, $60 -$75K DOE.
