As a Security Solutions Advisor, you will be responsible for understanding our clients' security needs and recommending the appropriate products and services to meet those needs. You will serve as a trusted advisor, helping clients enhance their security posture and achieve their business objectives.RequirementsEssential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Client Consultation
- Engage with clients to understand their network security requirements and challenges.
- Conduct security assessments and provide recommendations tailored to client needs.
- Develop and present customized security solutions, including product demonstrations and assist with proof of concept.
- Solution Design
- Design comprehensive security solutions that integrate various vendor products and services.
- Collaborate with vendor and internal technical teams to ensure the proposed solutions are feasible and effective.
- Prepare detailed proposals and documentation outlining the solution, benefits, and implementation plan.
- Sales Support
- Assist the sales team with technical expertise during the sales process.
- Provide training and support to sales representatives on security products and services.
- Participate in client meetings and calls to address technical questions and concerns.
- Product Expertise
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of network security products, services, and industry trends.
- Conduct research to stay informed about emerging security threats and solutions.
- Develop and deliver informational materials for clients and internal teams.
- Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
- Provide ongoing support to client's post-implementation to ensure the success of security solutions and services.
- Gather feedback from clients to improve product offerings, services, and client experience.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:Education/Training/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in network security, cybersecurity, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of network security products and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus.
