Training Manager

Utilizing state of the art technology combined with great people, we design custom solutions for our clients. We are seeking a Training Manager for our Client Facility in Providence, RI.

Benefits

Securitas will offer a salary of $68,000 in addition to a full benefit package that includes:

As the Training Manager, you will oversee the training and instructional leadership of all Contract Personnel. You will also have responsibilities to:

  • Develop computerized, on the job training, in a dedicated portal with an ability to review training records electronically as well as create proactive training plans based upon ongoing information and analyses.
  • Ensure that laws and regulations are reviewed, and changes are implemented as necessary.
  • Prepare compliance reports and identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate, develop, deliver, and manage employee training and development programs.
  • Manage annual re-certification training and keep client up to date.

To be considered for this position, you will need to have the following experience and ability:

  • Prior management experience preferably in a Security environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of effective performance improvement and training methods and processes.
  • Skill in developing curriculum and performance-based training modules.
  • Strong customer and results orientation.
  • Safety Care training experience is a plus.
  • CPR certified and/or instructor would be preferred.
  • Excellent planning, organizing and leadership/supervisory skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
  • Ability to be an effective member of and lead project teams.
  • Skill in the use of standard office productivity, training, and project management software.
  • Ability to carry out multiple assignments concurrently.
  • Skill in clear and concise oral and written communication.
  • Skill in planning, organizing, monitoring, and ensuring achievement of milestones in projects or assignments, including elements performed by team members and collaborators.
