DescriptionPay Rate: Min$13.50 Max $17.50Summary Coordinates activities in producing seed stocks for shareholders by performing the following duties.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Operate the seed processing cleaner, seed treater, drive forklift, and other related equipment to produce quality product incompliance with regulated environment and follow all Premium Peanut Standard Operation Procedures. Visually inspects treated seed to ensure proper treatment coverage.Verify scale readings on seed treating fluids and replace efficiently and effectively when needed. Perform corrective machine adjustment and adjust process variables. Monitor and record information. (Verbal, written, computer). Shows familiarity with the seed treater area. Example (change out pump hoses, prime treater system to the atomizer, stop and start the process with minimal non-compliant seed and shut down the process properly.) Upon completion of training, follow instructions and work independently and effectively with minimal supervision. Collaborate in a professional and friendly way with packaging crew on current operations and work and function as an integral part of the Premium Peanut Seed Team. Ability to adapt to changing requirements and deadlines, assess workload and manage accordingly. Effectively communicate with team both verbally and in writing.Responsible to complete, or assist with, regular maintenance, special projects, safety and other improvements to the equipment and facility, and other duties as assigned.Competencies To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; Determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly.
