Penn State Health is seeking a board certified/eligible General Neurosurgeon to join our multi-disciplinary team in the Berks-Lancaster region. The selected candidate will primarily focus on spine surgery. All subspecialties are welcome to apply. Our multi-hospital health system serves patients and communities across 29 counties in central Pennsylvania.Position Highlights
- Join an established team of neurosurgeons and advanced practice clinicians based at Penn State St Joseph's Medical Center in Reading, PA and Penn State Lancaster Medical Center in Lancaster, PA.
- Be part of Penn State's growing, nationally recognized academic neurosurgery department.
- Approximately 1:4 call with no Level 1 or Level 2 trauma call.
- Potential for an academic appointment at Penn State College of Medicine with rank commensurate with experience.

What we're seeking
- MD, DO or equivalent degree
- BC/BE Neurosurgery
- Ability to acquire a license to practice in Pennsylvania
- Must be able to obtain valid federal and state narcotics certificates
