Job Description:
Exercising courtesy in contacts with patients, customers and department staff, sets up, serves and cleans up food service area; prepares orders, such as soda fountain dishes, desserts, etc., as directed. Maintains prescribed standards of sanitation, housekeeping and safety in assigned work area. SUPERVISION AND DIRECTION EXERCISED: None. MACHINES AND EQUIPMENT USED: Dishwashers; stove; microwave oven; grill; toaster; hot and cold counters; soda fountain; coffee urn, hot chocolate, iced tea, cream and juice dispensers; juice capper; food transporters and carts; cash register; and related equipment. TYPICAL DUTIES: - Sets up food for serving, serves food according to prescribed manner, cleans utensils and equipment before, during and after serving.
