SUPERVISION AND DIRECTION EXERCISED: None. MACHINES AND EQUIPMENT USED: None. TYPICAL DUTIES: - Sets up tables with clean linens and silverware, based on anticipated service needs. - Fills water glasses and pours beverages for guests. - Takes guests orders and serves the meal following established procedures. Explains menu items and specials, and answers questions as needed. - Clears and resets tables in a timely manner. Restocks service stations. - Presents check for signature or payment. Itemizes and totals check. QUALIFICATIONS: High School education and 6 months experience as a waiter/waitress; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
