Job DescriptionHourly Rate: $25.46Schedule: 8 hour rotating shifts (includes working 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift)The Selector will:
- Visually inspect ware and discard defective ware
- Set-up ware on lehrs and conveyors, dislodge ware on straight line equipment, and adjust the flow of empty cartons on conveyors as required
- Tend to casepacker/robot for proper operation
- Check ware on filled case conveyor, fill cartons as required, and check carton conditions for proper gluing and appearance
- May be required to hand pack ware and occasionally reselect packed ware as instructed
The Selector should:
- Have a strong mechanical aptitude
- Be highly safety conscious
- Have a desire to learn and grow within our industry
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds on a regular basis
- Previous experience in an industrial environment is a plus
- Able to work rotating shifts, with weekend and holiday requirements
