Seeking a Direct Support Professional (Respite)

Exceptional Family Resources is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide respite services for a young lady in the Jamesville area. She enjoys being active and has memberships with various locales within her community. Personal care assistance to be provided as needed.

The ideal candidate is reliable, enthusiastic, creative, and active. DSP experience is preferred. Please respond with resume or summary of experience.

Available Shifts (up to 15 hours/week):

Monday - Friday: 6pm - 9pm

Weekends: Various / Flexible

Pay rate: $22/hour

Location: Jamesville, NY

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work independently in the person's home and/or community.
• Reliable with effective communication and organizational skills
• New York State Driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance is required; acceptable driving record required.
• Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community.

All new hires must complete a five hour initial training. The pay rate for the initial training is $16.50/hour.
