AVAILABLE POSITIONS:
WHAT WOULD I BE DOING?
- Review, submit and monitor Self-Direction budgets in accordance with OPWDD guidelines
- Co-manage self-hired staff
- Oversee and monitor training of self-hired staff through their duration of employment
- Assist program participants with developing and maintaining a Circle of Support/Planning Team; assist with planning and directing team meetings (this includes: assisting the participant in scheduling and facilitating team meetings; identifying new team members; identifying and assigning roles and tasks for Circle of Support/Planning Team members; assisting with the overall functioning of the Circle of Support/Planning Team; ensuring team members are freely chosen by the participant; and the team is operating in the participant's best interests and within the principles of Self-Determination).
- Maintain program related records and documentation
- Comply with agency and OPWDD fiscal procedures in relation to program billing
- Attend semi-annual and annual service plan reviews
- Administer self-directed services in accordance with OPWDD guidelines
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's and/or Associate's Degree in Human Services or related field with one-year experience working with Individuals with Developmental Disabilities. High School Diploma with comparable education and/or experience may be considered.
- Valid NYS driver's license with a safe driving record per agency policy.
