Job Summary

This position plans, organizes, directs and assists in the delivery and administration of special education services in the geographic area described as the Antelope Valley Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA); organizes and coordinates standing committees; establishes, maintains and monitors budgets and SELPA participant expenditures; and assists in planning, organization and coordination of programs and services for pupils with special needs within the service area; plans, develops and implements inservice training and staff development programs.

Requirements / Qualifications

Please note that all applicants must meet the minimum requirements. Possession and maintain a valid California Supervisory or California Administrative Credential. Equivalent to a Master's degree in Education, Special Education, or closely related field from an accredited institution Possession of an appropriate, valid California driver's license and use of automobile.

Seven or more years of directly related comprehensive and progressive experience; including four years of administrative experience in special education or a closely related field. Please attach the following documents when submitting your on-line application:
