Job Summary: As a Semi-Skilled Manufacturing Technician, you'll be at the heart of our manufacturing process, performing a range of duties to ensure the seamless production of Pole Transformers. This position may include but is not limited to the following duties: Assembler, Operator, Forklift, Painter, Leafer, Finishing Technician, Tanking Associate, etc. You will perform various functions to assist with the production of Pole Transformers. *Must have open availability* Key Responsibilities: Assemble intricate transformer parts according to manufacturing guidelines and specifications. Perform various manufacturing tasks, including product assembly and operating specialized equipment. Demonstrate proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints for accurate implementation of manufacturing plans. Follow detailed instructions to ensure efficient and precise creation of transformer products. Use a variety of hand tools and machinery to skillfully assemble transformer components, optimizing both manual and automated processes. Manage machine-specific functions, including loading materials and operating machines, for maximum efficiency. Conduct systematic and timely quality checks at different manufacturing stages to maintain high-quality standards. Maintain a well-organized and stocked work area to ensure smooth manufacturing operations. Operate a forklift with precision and adherence to safety protocols if required for the area. Strictly adhere to safety guidelines and procedures, promoting a secure working environment for yourself and your team. Produce and meticulously maintain accurate records of manufacturing activities, contributing to our commitment to transparency and accountability. Undertake additional duties as assigned, showcasing your versatility and commitment to manufacturing excellence. Key Qualifications: Good verbal and written communication skills. Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina for repetitive tasks. Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills. Previous experience in similar manufacturing roles preferred. Familiarity with hand tools and basic machinery operation. Ability to read and interpret specifications. Strong attention to detail, time management, and quality control skills. Ability to work in a warehouse environment with exposure to noise and dust. Capability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs. unassisted.
  • Prolonged standing, stooping, bending, twisting, and walking periods.
  • Background check, drug screening, and physical exam required.
  • The targeted shift for hiring is Monday through Friday, 7 am-3:30 pm-midnight; however, the shift is subject to change per business needs.
  • Some overtime and occasional weekends may be required based on business needs.
