In this role, you will be at the forefront of precision assembly, working closely with engineers to package cutting-edge DBR laser diodes. You'll be responsible for precision alignment, wire bonding, and sealing of microscopic components used in advanced technologies like quantum computing. To be successful, you must possess excellent manual dexterity for handling microscopic components and a problem-solving mindset. Ideal candidates will have experience operating and maintaining semiconductor packaging equipment, performing precision alignment, and thrive in a cleanroom environment. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing company that provides unique exposure to emerging technologies and the chance to grow with a company that's shaping the future of semiconductor innovation.Semiconductor Packaging Engineering Technician Responsibilities Master both manual and automated die attach processes using Tresky and Palomar equipment Execute precise wire bonding operations for complex semiconductor packages Handle and maintain packaging equipment, including auto pick-and-place machines Operate advanced die mounting and wire bonding equipment Conduct precision alignment and assembly of optical components Execute quality control measurements and testing procedures Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot and improve processes Address process failures to optimize performance and yield Document processes and maintain accurate production recordsSemiconductor Packaging Engineering Technician Qualifications Associate's degree required 2+ years of semiconductor packaging or assembly experience required Hands-on experience with semiconductor packaging equipment required Knowledge of both manual and automated die attaching processes required Knowledge of cleanroom protocols and ESD procedures required Proficiency in precision handling and microscope work required
