JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Account Executive (SAE) helps to manage the day-to-day business on assigned brand(s) to meet client needs, deadlines, and budgets. The SAE is a liaison between the client and internal agency departments, effectively communicating to help the agency provide high-quality service and product.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Execution of Work: Proactively manages project deliverables in partnership with project management (PM). Leads tactical workstreams
Client Management: Liaises with client partners to discuss projects with support from supervisor
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Supports cross-functional team by managing client projects with support from supervisor
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drives and own assigned projects from development through deployment with oversight
- Partners with PM on financial deliverables including estimates, invoices, and budgets
- Attends and participates in regular meetings with finance and PM
- Stays involved in the accurate and timely delivery of projects while operating within agency and client processes
- Provides prompt, well thought-out responses to project requests and follow-up questions
- Generates both internal and client-facing reports, with oversight, showing clear updates on project status and budget allocations
- Ability to design an informative PowerPoint
- Develops and maintains positive professional relationships with internal agency members and client counterparts
- Understands the client's needs and appropriately communicate to the internal team
- Takes a positive and collaborative approach to problem-solving and work cross-functionally to accomplish goals
- Collaborates with cross-functional team daily to improve efficiency in client status meetings
- Demonstrates a willingness to learn different channel management such as print, digital, multimedia
- Participates in regular meetings with finance and accounting to prepare proper financial reporting/billing and provide updates to supervisor
- Reviews hours/expenses against ongoing projects with PM
- Reviews scopes for individual jobs with PM
- Develops in-depth knowledge of assigned category and stay up to date on relevant brand, category, and competitor information
- Participates in weekly client status meetings regarding assigned tactical projects to keep client informed of project status
- Understands and operates within the established client and agency processes and the interdependencies of each role
- Maintains client status and contact reports that are concisely and accurately written to re-cap conversations and outline decisions made on next steps, key dates, and deliverables
- Assists with training and mentoring junior staff if applicable

SALARY
$65,000 to $85,000 annually
The salary range for this position is noted within this job posting.
