Job Description:

Our client, NFP, is looking for a Strategic, Client Focused Senior Account Executive who takes an advisory and consultative approach to partnering with clients on employee benefits programs. This role involves managing relationships with clients, offering strategic analysis, compliance guidance, and providing vendor liaison services. The Senior Account Executive will collaborate with internal teams to deliver a seamless client experience, assist in relationship development for self-funded opportunities, and ensure client satisfaction with proactive support and consultative reporting.

This is a client-facing role, and the ideal candidate will reside in South Carolina, with a preference for those in the Low Country area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic consulting services for health and welfare plans, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
  • Assist with business development for self-funded opportunities and contribute to the expansion of existing accounts.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, handling all service, billing, and eligibility issues with carriers.
  • Conduct quarterly analysis for large existing clients and provide consultative reports.
  • Review and maintain carrier contracts, policies, and performance standards.
  • Coordinate client onboarding and implementation of new business lines.
  • Support contract review, compliance initiatives, and HR procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members to provide education, wellness support, and proactive customer service.
  • Manage client files, databases, and renewal timelines while ensuring effective delegation to senior team members.
  • Organize and document marketing spreadsheet terms and ensure accuracy.
  • Provide vendor liaison support, resolving client issues with external vendors.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in employee benefits consulting or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of health and welfare plans, including self-funded arrangements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
