  • Undergraduate degree required, preferably in Marketing, Business, Sports Management and/or Communications
  • 2-3.5 years of experience that provides aforementioned skills and abilities
  • Strong ability to effectively communicate ideas in both a written and verbal setting
  • Expert in industry knowledge and understanding of sports marketing vernacular
  • Ability to work well under pressure and deliver assignments under deadline
  • Ability to effectively and intelligently communicate with clients, internal strategy teams, alternate OMG SBU's and other agencies as needed
  • Ability, willingness, and flexibility to work beyond the normal hours of the traditional workday, where needed
  • Self-starter traits are essential
  • High level of proficiency in MS Suite and in conducting online research
  • Efficiency, organization, attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Ability to perform and thrive in both a structured and unstructured environment
  • Passion for sports a plus, including but not limited to the following:
    • Experience in building out 360 marketing plans within the U.S.
    • Working knowledge of the Olympics ecosystem and Team USA
    • Working knowledge across U.S. major professional sports, including media rights
Responsibilities:
  • Develop broad understanding of clients' businesses and needs
  • Proactive in identifying new projects and business opportunities with existing clients as well as building materials to support best practices, learnings/takeaways, etc for future reference
  • Lead POC with respective property partners, as needed, for management of creative/asset review and approvals, including updating of tracker(s), communication between parties, etc
  • Lead designated status calls with clients, including management and updating of weekly document(s) for record keeping
  • Travel, as required, for presentations, meetings and other client or industry events
  • Core competencies include formulating marketing strategies, evaluating sponsorship proposals/athlete opportunities, and managing client services
  • Design decks and word documents that convey strategy supported with appropriate research
  • Produce relevant research from databases, industry trades and additional sources

Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, 401(k), Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, vacation days, sick days, personal days, paid parental leave, paid medical leave, and STD/LTD insurance benefits.
