Our teams work with local hospitals and transplant centers to deliver the gift of life to New Yorkers currently waiting for lifesaving transplants.Join us in helping New Yorkers to live on by making New York number one in lives saved through donation.LiveOnNY is a dynamic, fast-growing company that is committed to providing excellence to our clients and families while creating a positive impact in the community.We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our talented Finance team: As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all financial data. The Sr. Accounant will be responsible for performing complex accounting duties such as overseeing financial operations, prepare financial reports, analyzing financial data, cost accounting, and guiding accounting personnel in daily tasks. Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain financial and business transactions, applying accounting principles
  • Manages, directs, and reviews the work of the accounting staff
  • Resolve complex accounting issues or assist other accounting staff in resolving financial issues
  • Assist with annual cost reports
  • Perform general ledger reconciliation and analysis
  • Prepare general journal entries for review
  • Ensure adherence to standard accounting procedures and maintain accounting files
  • Assist in annual audits
  • Track trends through general account analysis monthly
  • Assist regulators and company auditors with inquiries
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant state and federal regulations
  • Makes and implements recommendations to improve accounting processes and procedures
  • Coordinates monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities accurately and timely
  • Complete other tasks as assigned by management
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in either public accounting or an accounting department of a healthcare organization.
  • A CPA license is a plus.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000
