Senior Accountant - Growth Opportunity!

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant include:
- Supervise Accounts Receivable/Billing
- Monthly upload and analysis of the payroll information including analysis of all payroll related balance sheet accounts and fringe allocations
- Conduct standard month end closing procedures
- Preparation and distribution of daily cash report
- Timely completion of bank reconciliations for all bank accounts
- Assist Controller with annual audits and maintenance of ERP system (Currently using Sage/Intacct)
- Work with Development and Training department to properly record monthly donations and training revenues
- Assist with special projects as needed.
Experience preferred:
- 4+ years of relevant accounting experience with a nonprofit
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting
- Exposure to various grants and funding such as OPWDD is a plus
- Strong Excel skill; experience using accounting systems such as Intacct, MIP, Financial Edge is a plus
- Should be able to present, interpret and effectively communicate financial data
