Job DescriptionActively engage in the monthly and quarterly financial closes Perform all aspects of accounting functions in NetSuite on a daily/weekly/monthly basis Perform monthly Bank Reconciliations for numerous bank accounts Perfrom Accounts Receivable function (invoices, billing and collection) Perform Accounts Payable function (posting invoices, allocating expenses and processing payments) Review Credit Card transations: analyze and allocate expenses in the General Ledger Review General Ledger for accuracy and completeness Review and analyze (for various financial discrepancies) and then upload financial statements and reports from Subsidiaries Process electronic payments (wires/ACH/transfers) in NetSuite and on online banking platforms Help improve practices/facilitate reporting Respond to ad-hoc requests/analyses as needed Assist in various Corporate Audits Work extensively with the third parties (vendors/bankers/outside tax firm etc) and provide information required/resolved issues MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful ApplicantMinimum 1-3 years experience in all aspects of accounting work (AP, General Ledgers)Bachelor degree in accounting Strong working knowledge of all aspects of accounting and accounting software (General Ledger, Trial Balance, Financial statements etc)Strong working knowledge and experience with NetSuite accounting software Strong intermediate working knowledge of Excel; ability work fast and efficient in ExcelFinancial savvy and analytical ability (abilty to work in various softwares, work with Excel/CSV conversions, learn new software etc ) Highly organized/multitask in a dynamic and fast paced environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
