Senior Accountant
Job Description
The Senior Accountant will participate in the accounting, consolidation, and reporting of global operations and will have responsibility for assigned technical accounting areas. These areas may include stock-based compensation, retirement plan accounting, segment reporting, legal/environmental analysis, identifiable intangible assets and goodwill, common stock/EPS, and debt-related processes. Additionally, this role involves preparing and filing SEC forms, as well as special projects such as implementing new accounting rules, regulations, and standards, acquisitions/dispositions, software implementation, and other projects as needed.
Hard Skills
+ Bachelors in accounting
+ 2+ years experience in SEC reporting, audit background , consolidations, and GAAP accounting
+ Active CPA
+ Excel proficiency (pivot tables, vlookups)
Soft Skills
+ Detail-oriented
+ Strong analytical skills
+ Excellent communication skills
+ Ability to work in a team

This is a permanent position.
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Richmond, Virginia.
Work Environment
8-5 fully in office. Ability to flex remote in certain one-off occasions but no consistent WFH or hybrid schedule permitted. Will be in a 3-person team under the manager.
