JobTitle:Senior AccountantReports To:Accounting ManagerExempt: FTKeyfunctions of this position are the development, analysis, and interpretation of statisticaland accounting information in order to appraiseoperating results.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Own month end/year end close functions, includingpreparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and reports in compliance with GAAP and corporatepolicies.2. Track, record, audit, and report on Capex items,including additions, disposals, and depreciation.3. Track, record, and report on prepaids and variousaccruals.4. Assist with intercompany transactions,reconciliations, and reports.5. Become a backup for various items, including dailysales reports, daily bank reconciliation, payroll processing, and sale taxfilings6. Support the external audit process with theAccounting Manager and CFO.7. Support CFO with special projects as needed.Skills and Abilities:1. Must be able to interact cordially and productively with a variety of people.2. Must be able to interact cordially and productively with a variety of people.3. Must establish and maintain effective working relationships with, and among, all personnel.4. Must be able to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.5. Must maintain organization confidentiality at all times1.Education and Required Experience: 1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting2. Minimum of 3 - 5 years public accounting experience3. Knowledge of US GAAP with financial statementpreparation4. Experience with large data sets, including ability toanalyze and report to various levels of management strongly preferred.5. Can work with a group through the monthly close andreporting process with various reporting deadlines.6. Enthusiasm to take on responsibilities and continue tobuild and develop your own knowledge and skills.7. Ability to multitask and prioritize.8. Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communicationskills.9. Desire to exceed expectations and have a flexible,can-do attitude10. Roll-up the sleeves approach to accomplish allnecessary tasks11. Commitment to excellence, impeccable ethical standards,and integrity12. Advanced MS Excel skills13. Power BI skills a plus14.
