Your key responsibilities will include:Month-end Financial Closing and Reporting: Take ownership of the month-end financial closing process. Prepare journal entries, conduct account reconciliations, and ensure accuracy in financial statement reports.External Audit and Compliance: Liaise with external auditors to support financial and periodic bank/compliance audits.Reporting Requirements: Fulfill internal and external reporting requirements, including company-specific portfolio reporting to senior leadership.Budget Development and Analysis: Assist in the development of the annual budget. Conduct monthly variance analysis by department.Process Improvement: Lead various projects aimed at improving processes and efficiency within the accounting function.Special Projects and Analysis: Undertake special projects and duties as requested, including ad-hoc analysis in support of senior management.Deadline Management: Manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines with a keen focus on detail and accuracy.Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration or equivalent from an accredited school.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in industry and/or public accounting.
- Proficient in monthly close processes.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, demonstrating the ability to analyze problems, recommend solutions, and deliver results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/PowerPoint/Excel).
- Proven track record of working independently with limited direction on simultaneous projects and teams.
