Job DescriptionSenior Accountant A Top CPA firm in the area is looking to add an experienced Senior Accountant to their team. Due to the recent growth of the firm, there is an opportunity to join a team of highly motivated staff! Senior Accountant Responsibilities:
- Understand detailed accounting concepts
- Understand & enjoy Accounting, Tax, & Auditing
- Perform related Tax and Accounting research
- Management of staff workload and engagements
- Communicate with auditors and other external organizations
- Participate in internal and external audits
- Prepping/reviewing 1065, 1120, 1040, 1041, and related consulting
- Perform data entry into accounting systems
- Provide financial support to projects
- Perform cost accounting
- Prepare financial statements., Maintain and monitor the accounting system
Qualifications:
- BS/BA Degree in Accounting or equivalent degree
- Accounting: 3 years (Preferred)
- Tax: 3 years (Preferred)
- Audit 3 years (Preferred)
- Previous experience in Public Accounting (Required)
License/Certification:
- CPA License
- Enrolled Agent
