YOUR OPPORTUNITY

As the Senior Accountant for Zegna/Thom Browne, you will play a key role within the Finance group and report to the Controller.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

* Oversee Retail Revenue Reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.

* Manage Rent Accounting under IFRS 16 standards.

* Supervise Property Tax Accounting and ensure timely filings.

* Handle Commercial Rent Tax Accounting and related filings.

* Oversee Concession and Wholecession Accounting operations.

* Reconcile Managerial vs. Statutory Accounting discrepancies.

* Prepare internal financial reports, including Profit and Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, and other analyses as required.

* Create and review Journal Entries and Account Reconciliations in alignment with group policies and SOX compliance.

* Develop supporting schedules for financial reports submitted to the parent company via the BPC consolidation system.

* Submit accurate financial reports to the parent company in a timely manner.

* Prepare documentation for auditors and support audit processes.

* Perform Sales and Use Tax Analysis and reconciliation.

* Manage and mentor the Staff Accountant, fostering development and providing guidance.

* Support leadership (Controller, COO, FP&A Director, and Parent Company) by posting journal entries as needed.

* Adhere to and comply with SOX Controls and maintain compliance standards.

* Provide accounting support for U.S. and Canadian subsidiaries (4 legal entities).

* Assist with ad hoc projects and resolve ad hoc accounting matters as required.

WHO YOU ARE:

* Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (required).

* At least 5 years of relevant experience in retail, fashion, consumer packaged goods, or a CPA firm.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced skills required).

* Experience with SAP is a plus.

* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and structure large volumes of data.

* High attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.

* Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.

* Results-driven, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and teams.

COMPENSATION:

The pay range for this position is $105,000-$110,000 annually, dependent on candidates' relevant skills and experience.
