Senior Accountant Location 2 Saint Ann's Avenue, Bronx, NY, 10454, United States Base Pay $85000.00 - $95000.00 / Year Employee Type Reg Full-Time Description Fresh Direct is seeking a full-time motivated and dependable Senior Account to join our team. Our ideal candidate is adaptable and detail-oriented, and is interested in supporting and improving the accounting process. Duties and Responsibilities Continuous improvement of accounting processes General accounting support including supporting the accounting & finance team Ensure timely monthly financial close including performing and reviewing journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and reporting related to Cash, Fixed assets, Prepaid expenses, Expense accruals, and Payroll Perform sales tax reconciliations Cross-train and maintain strong working relationships with other team members Assist with ad-hoc projects and other duties as requested Assist with development of processes surrounding inventory reconciliation Required skills and experience Excellent professional communication skills and a team mentality Comfort learning and working within multiple General Ledger systems Working understanding of intercompany transactions and charts of accounts Ability to work with detailed data - strong analytical skills Strong foundation in Excel and other Office programs Time management and task prioritization Able to take full ownership of and responsibility for assigned monthly tasks and related deadlines Ability to adapt, and a passion for learning Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles Experience in SAP a plus Education Bachelor's Degree in Accounting 2-4 years of accounting experience in public, or a mix of public and private accounting CPA is a plus Senior Accountant Description Fresh Direct is seeking a full-time motivated and dependable Senior Account to join our team.
