Wallace CPA Firm is seeking a full-time Senior Accountant to join our public accounting team in Nashville, TN. The position includes tax return preparation, bookkeeping, preparation of financial statements and accounting. The ideal candidate can work in a fast-paced setting and can handle multiple challenging projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate must also have strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. This position offers an office-first hybrid, after a probationary period, which includes training, where employees are expected to come into the office most days, but are allowed to work from home as needed. Wallace CPA Firm has over 35 years of combined experience in financial planning, accounting, tax preparation and personal and business advisory services. We serve clients from a diverse range of industries including healthcare, music, entertainment, and more. Job Requirements: Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting. 3+ years of experience in public accounting. 3+ years of experience with tax return preparation. Proficient with QuickBooks and/or other accounting software packages. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Excel and Outlook. Proficient with UltraTax or other tax preparation software. Excellent knowledge tax accounting, tax compliance, and all types of tax returns. Outstanding professionalism. Strong attention to detail. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Strong work ethic. Ability to communicate effectively with both colleagues and clients. Ability to meet deadlines. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential client information. Ability to connect and build relationships with clients, team members, and firm leadership. As we offer tax preparation services, all staff are required to work Saturdays between February 1 and April 15, for a minimum of 45 hours a week.
