Senior Accountant
: Job Details :

LHH is looking to fill a self-motivated and results-oriented Senior Accountant position for a client of ours in Cincinnati, Ohio. This individual will be responsible for the general oversight within the monthly and quarterly close process, along with assisting in the improvement of internal controls while participating in projects that integrate a wide range of accounting exposure.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 3+ years accounting experience
• Strong presentation skills
• Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc..)
• Self-motivated / Results-oriented

Duties:

• Assist in monthly and quarterly close processes
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
• Assist with annual budget plans and forecasts
• Assist with the optimization of accounting procedures
• Preparation of monthly analytics over significant account balances
• Assist leadership with financial statement preparation
• Ad Hoc projects
