Job Description:

Are you looking to get out of public accounting for a corporate role that offers work/life balance? Our client also offers stability and growth. Functions:

  • Completing the month end close and creating financial statements.
  • Oversee the daily activities of the cost center and ensuring that all major projects, month-end and year-end reports are completed accurately and on time.
  • Ensuring that all accounting processes align with GAAP while analyzing financial data and creating reports for management.
  • Prepare business activity reports, financial forecasts and annual budgets.
  • Partner with external auditors to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Experience:
  • 2-4 years of experience. CPA license or parts passed. Having worked on manufacturing and/or government contractor clients.
  • Strong computer skills and Accounting ERP Software.
  • Strong MS Excel skills including v-lookups and pivot tables.
