What You'll Be Doing:
Oversee financial and operational transaction processing, ensuring accurate and timely closing of financial systems, and managing monthly balance sheet reconciliation and controls monitoring.
Manage inventory valuation adjustments, annual physical inventory flyover adjustments, and reserves.
Coordinate internal and external audit support for interim and year-end audits
Prepare and distribute reports, providing analysis and support as needed, and serve as the key finance partner with operations to driver operational excellence and continuous improvements
Manage and develop a team of accounting professionals, collaborate with other functional areas on special projects, and deliver results in a fast-paced, high-performance culture
Identify process improvement opportunities for the Shared Service Organization and provide technical accounting advice
Responsible for due diligence and integration of acquired entities through merger and acquisitions for area of responsibility
What Are We Looking For:
Bachelors degree in accounting or finance
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance
Strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS
In-depth knowledge of large enterprise ERP systems such as SAP, JDE, and Oracle
Experience with reporting systems such as Essbase, HFM, Cognos, SAP BW, or similar
Proven ability to lead and manage a team, to meet deadlines, and work collaboratively
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong project management skills and exceptional problem-solving abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
