The Role You Will Play

• Client Management - consulting with clients (as primary contact) and prospects regarding actuarial and administrative issues for retirement plans and design alternatives
• Annual Valuation and Compliance oversight and review of annual valuation process for pension plans (qualified and non-qualified; traditional, asset-based cash balance, and variable annuity plans), including with benefit statements, 5500 & PBGC filings, non-discrimination testing, and accounting projects, as applicable.
• Plan Design - developing plan design options for prospects.

Background Profile

• Mid-level Actuary
• Strong grasp of DB and DC plans
• Strong technical skills
• Ability to delegate and review work of actuarial analysts and associates and potentially act as a career advisor/supervisor.
• ASA, EA required (or pursuing EA)
• Bachelors Degree in Actuarial Science or related
