The Southeast Regional Professional Development Center (RPDC) has been housed on the campus of Southeast Missouri State University since 1996. The Center serves approximately 84 school districts in the southeast region. RPDC personnel provide training programs for the teachers and administrators throughout the area on a continuous basis.
Primary Responsibilities
* Provide administrative services and support including receiving visitors, scheduling meetings, screening correspondence, and telephone correspondence
* Scheduling and arrangements for workshops and meetings including maintaining calendars of all events
* Collaborates with consultants to plan future events
* Serves as the building coordinator for the Innovation Center
* Supervise student workers
* Organize and maintain department files
* Manages and organizes inventory of all supplies and places orders for the department
* Serves as liaison with facilities management
* High School Diploma or GED
* Knowledge and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Access
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
* Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to listen, communicate both verbally and non-verbally in a professional manner, negotiate with others, and solve problems
* Demonstrated previous work experience indicates a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
* Demonstrated evidence of ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
* Demonstrated bookkeeping experience or evidence of math skills
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities through strong organizational skills
* Demonstrated evidence of on-going customer focus
