We are seeking a talented individual to join our Advisory team at Marsh McLennan. This role will be based in New York. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

The Senior Advisory Representative will serve as an introduction to your insurance career path in Credit Specialties, consulting with clients on their service requirements and insurance needs while providing insights on emerging products and market conditions,

We will count on you to:

* Facilitate new client onboarding and billings and prepare AR reports

* Monitor payment status from clients, review accrual, deferral, and share journal entry support, maintain up-to date workflow documentation

* Conduct insurer remittance confirmations and reconciliations.

* Act as the lead advisory colleague on smaller, less complex books of business, following the corporate policies

* Advise smaller clients on risk management solutions that align with their strategic imperatives and risk exposures.

* Develop renewal and placement strategies and prepare proposal components analysis of pricing, coverage terms, and recommendations.

* Manage follow-up on coverage changes with underwriters to ensure correct specifications.

* Build and maintain market contacts, to effectively execute on client program.

What you need to have:

* Bachelor's degree.

* Professional experience in an office-based environment; insurance industry experience preferred.

* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access).

* Familiarity with ChatGPT/AI and experience with PowerBi preferred.

Marsh McLennan is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh McLennan colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one anchor day per week on which their full team will be together in person.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $51,600 to $110,000.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
