ODW Logistics is a people-focused and customer-driven third-party logistics (3PL) provider committed to delivering seamless end-to-end supply chain solutions. Our extensive range of services include supply chain design and innovation, warehousing, efficient distribution and fulfillment, freight brokerage, transportation management, and specialized e-commerce fulfillment solutions. Sr. Analyst, Business Analytics will use data analytics and technology to provide insight and information to the operators and decision-makers within ODW. This role will provide cross-functional support to all business units and will leverage business intelligence tools to develop reporting and provide training on the functionality.
- Essential Functions
- Aids in identifying areas of the business that can be optimized
- Leads design of software-based solutions that improve processes
- Leads implementation of software-based tools and automation
- Designs technical queries Creates and updates business intelligence reporting and visuals.
- Offers continued support for any solutions implemented
- Assists with reporting, insights, and data requests for all areas of business
- Documents processes for future use with a focus on standardization
- Troubleshoots data modeling issues and develops solutions
- Provides support for new business and building out of initial tools
- Collaborates with end users to identify needs and opportunities for improved data management, while bringing awareness to techniques and tools available to use
- Other duties as assigned Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience such as prior programming experience
- 3 - 5 years of experience writing SQL queries
- Experience with analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik
- Experience creating SSIS packages and stored procedures
- Warehouse Management System experience
- Operational knowledge in a 3PL or Distribution environment
- Ability to hear, read and comprehend, write, and communicate.
