This is a hybrid role open to candidates based in Dallas-Fort Worth, TX and High Point, NC.

As the Senior Contract Cost and Fixed Assets Analyst, your financial skills and attention to the small details will ensure our operations continue to run smoothly. What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Perform and oversee fixed asset accounting, including prepaid assets and contract assets.
  • Prepare and review monthly journal entries (prepaids, accruals, other manual entries, etc.).
  • Complete P&L, balance sheet and G/L account analysis.
  • Conduct and review balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Train and assist in the development of accountants; interact and operate efficiently with multiple departments including AP, Treasury, Tax, IT, Finance, and Operations.
  • Ensure SOX compliance.
  • Lead process documentation, simplification, and enhancement efforts.

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience.
  • 2 years relevant accounting experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills with the ability to create pivot tables and use VLOOKUP.

It'd be great if you also have:

  • Public accounting and/or CPA experience.
  • Experience in intercompany accounting.
  • Experience with related systems such as Oracle, HFM, and Blackline.
  • Experience in the logistics and transportation industry.
