Position Summary: We are looking for a Senior Analyst to join our Data and Technology team with the Client Solutions, Analytics group at BPN- Part of Initiative. A successful candidate should be a self-motivated curious learner, with strong skills across key cloud database buildout and reporting technologies including SQL, Snowflake, Tableau as well as coding with Python and or R. You will be critical in helping establish a suite of automation tools & products for a large pharmaceutical client. Curiosity and passion for automation, data management, digital data, and new technologies, is a must! Primary day to day tasks will include working with teams across Mediabrands to gather requirements and articulate schematics to represent the logical and physical structure of a data warehouse including tables, field specifications and data relationships. A successful candidate will have a wide variety of skills in media, technology, data, and cross team management. Key Responsibilities: Essential Functions:
  • Collaborate with other company teams to identify existing procedures and identify areas for automation / improvement
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and users to define and prioritize needs across the company
  • Contribute to designing major programming & buildout blueprints and executing development work on said requirements
  • Assist translating high-level requirements into detailed user stories and use cases that design, and development teams can easily implement.
  • Contribute to certain strategic planning activities and operational improvement initiatives.
  • Assist developing standard operating procedures and training materials, and be the subject matter expert to provide demos, education and training to drive adoption of the product.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Strong verbal and communications skills
  • Superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
  • 1-2+ Years experience in data hygiene and quality assurance processes
  • 1+ years of programming and/or automation development work
  • 1-3+ years' experience with Snowflake, SQL Server, Jupyter Notebook or other database querying interface
  • Fundamentals of database structure: Able to articulate the logical and physical structure of a data warehouse and create schematics across tables to link and represent data relationships
  • Comfortable contributing to design and execution data modeling
  • Intermediate level SQL experience
  • Excellent organizational skills; capacity to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously and communicate with all levels of management
Desired Skills & Experience:
  • 1-2+ Years experience in Life Science, Media or regulated markets (Financial, Insurance, Pharmaceuticals, Biotech)
  • Experience with advertising technologies or operations (media planning, buying, reporting) is a plus
  • Experience working with data from digital channels (Google DCM, Meta platforms, Adwords, SA360, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics is a plus

  • Lots of data wrangling, inspecting for quality, anomalies, investigations and contributing to standard operating procedures to prevent data quality issues
  • Learning new applications including AI to automate and improve efficiency of QC
  • Answering questions from colleagues and clients about data anomalies
  • Requests for cuts of data from large datasets
