NYU's Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Analyst, Planning and Academic Assessment in the Undergraduate College. The Senior Analyst will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and promoting the use of internal reporting tools examining enrollment, course, survey and student data to support leadership, inform decision-making, and contribute toward strategic goals, under the direction of the Senior Director and Associate Dean. They will maintain and enhance existing reports and queries to meet existing quality standards and new business requirements. This position will also assist with the development, execution, and completion of various institutional research projects, encompassing design, implementation, analysis, visualization, and report preparation. The Senior Analyst will oversee the creation and maintenance of interactive reporting dashboards and data visualization for self-service use across the college, and provide technical assistance and training to stakeholders on reporting tools and interpretation of data. They will develop and update templates, content, definitions, references, resources, and process documentation related to the publishing of dashboards, and collaborate with business partners on data governance, data collection workflow, and data analysis.
QualificationsThe selected candidate must have a bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience using business intelligence tools (Tableau or equivalent) and working with relational databases and data warehousing concepts, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Proven knowledge and application of dashboard design concepts, strong analytical skills and experience in visualizing and analyzing metrics, surveys results, and trends and excellent analytical, relationship building and written/verbal communication skills are required.
Additional InformationIn compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000 to USD $84,000. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
